  • Gentle detergent only — this cotton is garment-dyed and laid back, treat it accordingly

  • First wash may bleed a little, so keep darker colours away from anything white or precious

  • Don't use bleach. Your shirt doesn't need it and won't forgive it

  • Skip the fabric softener — it messes with the feel and the fabric doesn't need help

  • Tumble dry low, or better yet hang it up and go do something fun

  • Air dry when you can — it's better for the shirt and better for the planet

  • Pull it out of the dryer as soon as it's done or you'll be de-wrinkling all day
